Dharani is an experienced physiotherapist having worked across the public and private healthcare sector for over 20 years. She provides treatments tailored to each individual, reflecting their lifestyles and unique goals. Whilst ensuring a safe and effective recovery process to regain strength, mobility and confidence, Dharani works with her patient’s health care team (GP, Specialist, other allied health) to ensure holistic care.Dharani is an Accredited Lymphoedema Therapist with the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA) and is experienced in the assessment and management of lymphoedema, lipoedema and oncology rehabilitation.Dharani is also an experienced neurological physiotherapist and has extensive experience working with people who have Parkinson’s Disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Multiple System Atrophy, Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis. Dharani currently works at the Movement Disorders Programs at Eastern Health and has worked at Monash Health (within the Movement Disorders Program at Kingston Centre), St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, Victorian Rehabilitation Centre (Healthscope) and within community health.She is committed to evidence-based practice and has published research in social isolation and oncology rehabilitation as well as publications for the APA. Dharani is also a guest lecturer at Monash University’s Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Doctorate of Physiotherapy courses.Professional qualifications and affiliations:

Physio to Recover offers the following services:

  • Lymphoedema assessment and management Manual Lymphatic Drainage, prescription and fitting of compression garments, pneumatic compression pump

  • Lipoedema assessment and management

  • Neurological rehabilitation for Parkinson's Disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), Stroke, and Multiple Sclerosis

  • Vestibular rehabilitation and management of falls and dizziness

  • Oncology rehabilitation including management of cancer-related fatigue, neuropathy, pain, post operative recovery and exercise support

Physio to Recover accepts patients under:
